Class AsyncResult

The AsyncResult class is to perform asynchronous task. This is important when multiple asynchronous tasks are done in a ASP.Net page for sample.

Initializes a new instance of the AsyncResult class.

Gets a user-defined object that qualifies or contains information about an asynchronous operation.

Gets a WaitHandle that is used to wait for an asynchronous operation to complete.

Gets an indication of whether the asynchronous operation completed synchronously.

public bool CompletedSynchronously { get; }

Gets an indication whether the asynchronous operation has completed.

public bool IsCompleted { get; }

Complete call must be called when all the asynchronous tasks are done and release the locked thread to perform the remaining work.
